Forth Insurance Brokers is headed by Gavin Cairns Dip CII.
Gavin has nearly 30 years' extensive commercial insurance experience within national and local brokerages, and for a global insurer. He holds a Diploma in Insurance qualification and is experienced in representing organisations ranging from sole traders to multi-national corporations.

Dedicated broking, underwriting & problematic claims handling experience, gained both in Scotland and overseas in Gibraltar, means that Gavin is able to protect the interests of your organisation, whether it's a Sole Trader/Partnership, an SME, Private Ltd Co, a plc, a multi-national Corporation, a public sector business or a not-for-profit / charitable organisation.

Claims support / guidance when needed

Too many "brokers" fail to deliver the levels of support that their clients can require and deserve by simply referring them to argue settlements of their claims directly with the Insurer's claims departments. Why use a broker who does not fulfil all such expected roles/functions? We are there every step of the way to guide and support our clients through the difficult times (in the event of a loss) and not just when offering the cover!

Guidance on insurance exposures and relevant policies to be considered

We are professional advisers, not salespeople. We aim to understand your business, recommend ways of protecting it via the purchase of insurances (if Risk Management alone does not suffice) and highlight areas of risk which may be worth considering and including within any proposals, but hopefully without any adverse effect on overall costs.

Premium intalment opportunities explored

If required, we can explore which options are available to help spread the payment of your insurance premium costs over several months of the year, whether via a premium finance provider or actually via the Insurers themselves.

Clients are valued and paramount to our service provision

If/when the insurance quotes we negotiate on clients' behalf are acceptable and the covers are incepted, we do not simply cast the clients aside to concentrate on bigger business. All clients are important to us and are our "bread n butter" no matter, the size.
If you have a question, we find the answer and if you have a problem we help provide the solution.

Potential for rewarding existing clients who recommend others to also become our clients

Although, very much dependent on the levels of the insurance premiums involved, we can sometimes consider potentially offering existing clients a discount (or small introductions "reward") for any referrals they make to other businesses who also appoint us and become formal clients of ours.
