Renfrewshire Leisure Trust will work for the benefit of the community of Renfrewshire by ensuring that there is sufficient provision of quality sports facilities for wet and dry sport in the area and positively encourage the community to participate in sport, leisure and recreational activities irrespective of social circumstance.

History:
The transfer of Renfrewshire Councils indoor sports centres and swimming pools in January 2003 through the creation of Renfrewshire Leisure was the direct result of an earlier strategic study on sports provision in the local area.
