Slough town centre has a high number of one and two bedroom apartments built over the last decade, mixed with older, more traditional terraced housing. The areas to the north, west and east have more traditional housing, including terraced, semi-detached and detached. To the south and south-west there are newer, more contemporary houses.
The town has a range of excellent schools and some of the best transport infrastructure in the UK. It is close to the M4, M25 and M40, while Crossrail trains are due to start running through Slough from December 2019, making London more accessible. Heathrow Airport is just eight miles away.
Hundreds of major companies have moved to Slough over the years, with the likes of O2 and Mars, choosing the town for their UK head offices.
A multi-million pound regeneration project is underway in the town centre, transforming it into a cultural and creative hub. Slough also boasts a wide array of recreational spaces, with 89 parks and spaces.
